The Peer Team commended the institution’s efforts in its report
Peer Team Report (verbatim – Page No 7):
“The college has various committees to conduct activities of the institution which include Anti-ragging Committee, Women Empowerment Committee, Anti-sexual Harassment Committee and Grievance Redressal Committee. The college encourages students’ participation in all Committees of the institutions. Meeting minutes of these committees are documented. The institution prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students. It has established procedures to address any issues or concerns that may arise including instances of sexual harassment or ragging. Students have the option to file a complaint through designated website page or by utilizing the complaint boxes conveniently located throughout the campus. The Grievance Cell, Internal Complaints Committee and Anti-Ragging Cell are dedicated to handling these matters promptly and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students.
Reasons for Appeal
 The institution adopts the following for redressal of student grievances including sexual harassment and ragging cases
1.         Implementation of guidelines of statutory/regulatory bodies
2.         Organization wide awareness and undertakings on policies with zero tolerance
3.         Mechanisms for submission of online/offline students’ grievances
4.         Timely redressal of the grievances through appropriate committees
HEI has opted the first option, i.e., Option A. All of the above.
The reason being that it has met all the required criteria under this metric. Authentic supporting documents are also uploaded stating about the institution’s adoption of all the four required parameters. 
As per the recommendations of DVV, the following points are minutely inculcated with supporting documents uploaded in the HEI website:
1.         Constitution of Internal Committees as per UGC norms i.e., Grievance Redressal Committee, Internal Complaints Committee and Anti-Ragging Committee.
2.         Minutes of Meetings of the Grievance Redressal Committee, Internal Complaints Committee and Anti-Ragging Committee.
3.         Annual Report of the Committees.
4.         Statutory regulations of UGC.
