Appeal on 2.4.2
Percentage of full time teachers with NET/SET/SLET/ Ph. D./D.Sc. / D.Litt./L.L.D. during the last five years (consider only highest degree for count)
In view of the points obtained from sub-metric 2.4.2, HEI appeals that the revised data of sub-metric 2.4.2 be considered as 234 and HEI feels that it deserves to be graded up for this metric to 3. The number of full time teachers with NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D/ D.Sc. / D.Litt./L.L.D. during the last five years submitted was 229. But it has been reduced to 190 as per HEI input recommendation. However, after carefully recounting, the number of full-time teachers was found to be 234 instead of 190 (as per HEI input recommended). The number of fulltime teachers with NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D/ D.Sc. / D.Litt./L.L.D. during the last five years after recounting is provided in the link below:

Upon reviewing the discrepancies between the reduced numbers of full-time teachers with NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D/ D.Sc. / D.Litt./L.L.D by assessors, the actual counts after assessment lies in several possible factors. Besides, the sub-metric 2.4.2 clearly stated that ‘the number of full-time teachers with NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D/ D.Sc. / D.Litt./L.L.D.’ , specifically on ‘with NET/SET/SLET’ may have been excluded in the counting of teachers’ qualifications. The numbers were largely reduced so we got 2 instead of 4. To ensure fairness and transparency and to enhance the accuracy of the assessment reports, we appeal that the recounting list may be reconsidered.
